After this unit, students will understand the eight natural disaters (flood, hurricane, tornado, tsunami, thunderstorm, volcano, earthquake, wildfire, winter storm), and how the natural disasters affect their lives at home, in the community, or in a bigger geographical region.
Students will learning the the knowledge and skills to respond to natural disasters in proactive ways.
